Vaginal Health Probiotic how it works

How it works

We designed our Vaginal Health Probiotic with OBGYNs to help maintain a balanced vaginal microbiome and protect against potential infections. There’s no unnecessary ingredients, only 15 billion live cultures of the most researched probiotic strains including Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-07, and Inulin.

This daily supplement promotes vaginal health by including 'good bacteria' that can disrupt the growth of bacteria and yeast related to bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections, reduce bloating, and improve digestion.

What are the symptoms of a yeast infection?

A healthy vagina naturally has a balance of yeast and bacteria. A yeast infection, also referred to as "monilia" or "candidiasis," occurs when that balance is disrupted and there is an overgrowth of yeast (candida). Yeast infection symptoms can include redness, itching and irritation in the vagina and vulva, pain or a burning sensation during sex and urination, and a thick discharge with a consistency similar to cottage cheese.

How can I protect against vaginal yeast infections?

Yeast love to grow in warm, moist areas. To protect against future vaginal yeast infections, we recommend wearing cotton underwear and loose-fitting clothes, changing out of damp clothes or a wet bathing suit as soon as possible. You can also support your vaginal health and encourage a healthy vaginal pH with a daily probiotic supplement. Also, talk to your primary care provider about any medication you’re taking that may be contributing to recurrent vaginal yeast infections.
