My first UTI and why I decided to sell UTI products
It was my first UTI, so I had no idea what I was experiencing. I noticed that I had to pee a lot, like way more than usual, but I kind of shrugged it off for a day or so. Then, it started to seriously hurt. I was experiencing burning and a sharp pain, and I felt like I had to pee all the time and then I noticed that I had blood in my urine. To this day it’s the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. That’s when I booked it to Urgent Care. Then it involved long lines at Urgent Care, severe pain, and then an extremely uncomfortable walk to the pharmacy (which culminated in my friend physically carrying me through the parking lot). Once I got the antibiotics and the Azo to numb the pain, it took so long to feel any relief.
I wish I knew the symptoms so I could have caught it earlier. By the time I knew what was going on, it was too late and I was in so much pain. Now, whenever I feel a UTI coming on, I chug water, take D-Mannose and cranberry supplements (Stix offers a great one, if I say so myself) and I steer clear of the surgery cranberry juice. I wish I knew how normal UTIs are. Literally, every single one of my girlfriends has had a UTI. Also, call your doctor early on –– don’t wait until the pain is unbearable. Also, pee after sex! Can’t stress that enough.
