Yeast Infection Test & Treat Combo how it works

How it works

Yeast infections are fungal infections that cause discharge, painful itching, and irritation of the vagina and vulva. A healthy vagina naturally has a balance of yeast and bacteria. A yeast infection, also referred to as "monilia" or "candidiasis" occurs when that balance is disrupted and there is an overgrowth of yeast (candida).

The 3-day treatment itch cream both relieve the itching and burning while treating the infection. It's an antifungal medication that stops the growth of yeast within the vagina and on the vulva. Plus, liners give an extra layer of protection and added comfort to use with the suppositories.

How to use vaginal suppositories

1

Take a suppository out of its packaging and place it in the top of the applicator. For best results, do this at night time before bed.

2

Lay on your back with your knees bent OR stand with your feet apart and knees bent. Gently insert the applicator (with suppository) into your vagina as far as it will comfortably go.

3

With one hand on the base of the applicator, use the other hand to push the plunger all the way through. Throw away the applicator — don't flush it down the toilet!

What are the symptoms of a yeast infection?

A healthy vagina naturally has a balance of yeast and bacteria. A yeast infection, also referred to as "monilia" or "candidiasis," occurs when that balance is disrupted and there is an overgrowth of yeast (candida). Yeast infection symptoms can include redness, itching and irritation in the vagina and vulva, pain or a burning sensation during sex and urination, and a thick discharge with a consistency similar to cottage cheese.

Will the treatment stain my underwear?

We recommend using a pantyliner during treatment to protect your clothing from stains and to keep you comfortable.

Is this safe for pregnant people?

We always recommend speaking with your doctor before using internal or topical yeast infection treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Can this prevent a yeast infection?

The test and treatment will not prevent a yeast infection. To help prevent yeast infections, try our Vaginal Health Probiotic which works to maintain a healthy vaginal pH and fight off future infections.
