Mother’s Day

The many phases of motherhood

At Stix, we are here for you wherever you are on your health journey—whether you're TTC, not trying to conceive, struggling with infertility, a new mom, a mom with 3 kids— because we care most about making sure you can access the tools you need.

This Mother's Day, we are exploring the different phases of motherhood.

This coming week, we’ll be hosting takeovers from women in the Stix community with unique stories. In the month ahead, we’re also excited to share more from women who’ve used Stix in their own lives. We can’t wait to spend the month honoring our community’s experiences, whatever they may be 💕

SUNDAY, MAY 10

Bri Coleman

I am, in general, an incredibly busy person: often having multiple jobs at one time, or going to school and maintaining a fulltime career. Last January when I found out I was pregnant, I felt the busy-ness of my life come to a screeching halt. I shifted my focus to the future and doing what was best for me and my baby - that shift was short-lived. I found out a little over a week later that I lost the baby. I was devastated.

As a long time sufferer of endometriosis, I've always had fears of infertility and having trouble conceiving. Because of how common miscarriage is, I've chosen to openly share my story in hopes that even one person can find peace in it. My story isn't over because of my miscarriage; my loss is just a part of it.

MONDAY, MAY 11

Anna Marie Cox

My husband and I have been TTC for two years now. We have had two miscarriages in that time. So I do see us as Angel parents. As an Angel Momma, I know these times can be hard, and I know there are allot of us out there. I think about my babies just about every day and know they are safe and loved even though they are not here with us. My husband and my two fur babies are my love, support, and my therapy for healing and my encouragement to keep my head and heart open to keep trying. Just know you ladies are still Mommas and deserve to be celebrated.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 13

Jessie Ourique

I am a 33 year old mom with a full time career. My journey to motherhood was not easy, I suffer from recurring miscarriages and had 4 before I became pregnant with my son (now 2). We’re currently trying to grow our family, but are being faced with the same challenge as before. Luckily, this time I feel like I am armed with knowledge, experience, and a strong support system.
